Introducing the Spoon Sports Full Spec Damper Kit for civic FL5/FK8 Type R 

Spoon Sports participated in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in North America with the FK8 in 2021 and the FL5 in 2023 and started the development of the FK8/FL5 with the cooperation of KW of North America. Based on the data obtained in practical races, they have repeatedly tested on the street, circuit, and winding roads, and developed a full-spec  damper kit that can be used both on the street and on the circuit.

Their motorsports program running the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in 2021 with the FK8 and with the FL5 in 2023, has led the way to develop coilover suspensions for the FK8/FL5 in partnership with KW USA. The vast data accumulated from racing served as the bases of the suspension development, setting an ambitious goal to create a product optimized for track, street and the winding roads.

The damping force is adjusted in two ways, on the extension side and on the contraction side, and the front is equipped with a camber adjustable upper mount. It can be adjusted with a wide width according to the driving conditions. Experience a smooth and flat ride in the city and direct and smooth cornering that approaches that of a racing car in sports driving. Designed with a 2-Way adjustable damping system, the front pair comes with camber adjustable upper-mounts to accommodate various driving environments. Providing a smooth flat ride on the street, the suspension can be adjusted for more direct and aggressive cornering feel for track / circuit use.
