Introducing new AIR CLEANER for CIVIC TYPE R FK8.

Made to increase efficiency.

Turbo vehicles would typically have POD type air cleaners, however here at SPOON we decided to develop the cleaner with stock air box. Designed to enhance driveability with its high filling efficiency.

The filter is made with polyester fiber. Unlike cotton, this material provides better dust filtration and increase air flow.

The graph above demonstrates how just changing the filter helped improving the torque and power specifically in the mid to high rpm range.

Having just installed the air cleaner with the current ECU settings resulted in significantly better air flow and overall improvement of torque, power and acceleration.

The filter is easy clean and does not require the filter oil or detergent. Just simply blow the dust off with an air gun.

※Use mild detergent with water and air dry, if dust cannot be removed with air.
